What do I need to send for a roofing takeoff?

The roof plan, elevations and sections, the roofing specs or system you plan to install, and your bid date. For re-roofs, an aerial report or measurements also work.

Do you adjust for roof pitch?

Yes. Areas are measured by plane and adjusted for pitch, then totaled in squares with waste shown separately.

Do you estimate tile and metal roofs?

Yes. Shingle, concrete and clay tile, metal and low-slope systems are all covered.

Can you include tear-off?

Yes. Tear-off layers, disposal and dumpsters can be included as separate lines.

How much does a roofing takeoff cost?
