Framing takeoffs: common questions
Do you produce a lumber list?
Yes. Material is listed by size, grade and length so you can send it to your lumber yard for pricing.
Do you count trusses or just the roof area?
Both. Trusses are counted by type from the truss layout when available. If there is no layout, we measure roof area and estimate the truss count.
Are hurricane straps and hardware included?
Yes. Connectors, straps, hangers and hold-downs are counted from the structural details.
Do you do metal stud framing?
Yes. Metal stud framing is covered on our drywall and framing page.
How much does a framing takeoff cost?
A single-trade takeoff is $99. Full priced estimates are $249 for residential or remodel and $499 for custom homes or commercial. Monthly plans start at $299 for 4 takeoffs, and unused takeoffs roll over.
