How do you measure walls for painting?
Wall areas are measured by room and height, with openings deducted, and listed by finish and coating system.
Are doors and trim counted separately?
Yes. Doors and frames are counted each and trim is measured in linear feet, since they price differently than walls.
Do you do exterior painting takeoffs?
Yes. Exterior walls, trim, fascia and soffits are measured from the elevations by substrate.
Can you include my production rates?
Yes. Send your production rates, labor cost and markup and we build them into the Excel file.
How much does a painting takeoff cost?
A single-trade takeoff is $99. Full priced estimates are $249 for residential or remodel and $499 for custom homes or commercial. Monthly plans start at $299 for 4 takeoffs, and unused takeoffs roll over.
